In the period from September 3 to 5, 2019, an expedition was organized to the Kerch Strait. Investigations were made of the mesoscale spatial structure of thermohaline, hydrophysical fields, and features of the circulation of water masses. The distribution of major pollutants (heavy metals, pesticides, detergents, hydrocarbons) was studied. Also studied the hydro-optical characteristics of the study area using remote spectrometric sensing from the ship.
